University season is upon us—and this means that it’s time for fresh starts, and exciting new opportunities for many students around Malta. Whether you’re starting off as a first-year student, or even if you’re a seasoned postgrad, it’s important to make sure you’ve got everything in line for the upcoming year.

Getting any admin work out of the way during the initial days of this academic year means you can then focus all your attention and efforts on other crucial elements for university success: studying, and making the best out of these incredible years of your life.

For those students lodging at Campus Hub, this admin work includes checking in at your residence. To follow our overall philosophy, we wanted to make sure our check-in process makes life easier for you, so the check-in process will be easy as pie. Once you’ve gone through the five steps below, all you need to do is to simply enjoy the student life in Malta, and live the Campus Hub Lifestyle

First things first. Our check-in process usually starts at 2 pm, but it’d be great if you could let us know your estimated arrival time before your day of arrival. You can reach Campus Hub by bus (using bus n. 35, 32, 31, 25, 250, 238, 122, 260, 24, 13 and TD13)  departing from Valletta), by car, or by taxi.

So, let’s now take a look at this brief list of things you need to know before checking in at Campus Hub:

1. Look out for the QR code

When entering the Campus Hub reception, you’ll spot a sign with a QR code on it. All you need to do is to scan the QR code, and follow the steps indicated on the website linked to this QR code.

Can’t spot the QR code? It happens to the best of us. Our on-site staff are available at the front desk day and night, so they’ll be able to help you out.

2. Keep your ID Card or passport at hand

We’ll need proof of identification to start the process, so make sure you keep either your ID Card or passport at hand while you’re checking in. Our attendee will ask you to provide either of the two, and will scan your document to start the check-in process.

3. Make sure you’ve got your deposit ready

Our attendant will then collect any outstanding deposit or taxes payable to Campus Hub—so ensure you’re ready to make any payments required upon checking. You should have received a summary of which payments will be requested already, but if you haven’t, please reach out to us and we’ll sort it out for you. We accept payments in cash and card, but feel free to message us before if you have any doubts on your preferred method of payment.

4. You’ll get all the info you need during your welcome talk

Moving to a new place might seem overwhelming, but with Campus Hub, it doesn’t need to be! Our attendant will guide you through all the different facilities our complex offers, including onsite activities, as well as recreational and retail services, as well as all the information you need to know about your new room.

If you have any further questions, our staff will be happy to answer them upon check-in. Forgot to ask your question? No worries. Our staff is present on-site 24/7, so you’ll always have someone who can help you at all times.

5. You’ll love your new room

Once the check-in process is complete, it’s time to grab your room key and head to your new room. Every room here at Campus Hub is designed to meet your needs as a student. We’ve included comfortable beds in both private and shared rooms, all of which are connected to a private bathroom. You can choose between a Single Room Cluster Apartment, a Single Room Shared Apartment, a Studio Apartment, a Twin Room Cluster Apartment, or Twin Room Shared Apartment. You’ll also enjoy easy access to common areas—making it even easier to join the #CampusHubLife fun!
