Who is eligible to book at Campus Hub?

Any person 18 and over and is a student enrolled with an educational institution across Malta can stay with us.

If I am doing an internship/placement year or part time course, am I allowed to live at Campus Hub?

Yes, if you are still registered as a student and your placement is part of your  degree/course then you can still live at Campus Hub. 

How do I book?

Booking your stay is easy! The booking process has four simple steps and takes less than 10 minutes to complete.

What is the booking process? 

Our booking simple and straight forward. Simply:

  • Visit the Campus Hub Website booking page
  • Submit a request
  • Read and agree to the T&Cs
  • Pay your deposit to secure your room!

This amount secures your booking at Campus Hub. Without this pre-payment your offer will be withdrawn after two weeks, even if you have accepted it online.

Damage Deposits?

We require a refundable deposit on check-in to cover for any potential damages.

Clients spending up to one month will be charged €100

Clients spending up to two months will be charged €200

Clients spending up to three months or more will be charged €350

Deposits will only be refunded once an inventory check is completed and no damages/loss of items/thefts etc are noted. Deposits will also be non-refundable if one of our Terms and Conditions are broken.

Clients who depart or are dismissed before the expiry of their accommodation contract, will not be refunded their deposit

Do I need to sign a contract to confirm my booking?

There is no contract to be signed. However, once confirming a booking, guests at  Campus Hub are subject to our Terms and Conditions which should be read and  understood carefully before booking.

What is your cancellation policy?

Long-term academic bookings will be refunded if cancelled prior to 30 days of check-in  date. Any cancellations made within 30 days of their check-in date will not refunded.

Special consideration will be given for cancellation of a booking under several circumstances, but any decision made is at sole discretion of the management team, on  an individual case by case basis and on the grounds that valid proof is provided. 

Short stay bookings also have their own set of general conditions for cancellation of  bookings.

Covid-19 Refunds

We understand that these are extraordinary times and aim to be flexible as possible to  support our clients. We will refund all monies paid to us for your accommodation if  Government imposes travel restrictions that prevent you from travelling to Malta to  take up your place at university. Official written evidence from the university  confirming that face to face lectures for your course will not be taking place must be sent  to the Campus Hub team before the move-in date.  

Alternatively, you may request that the start of your tenancy be put back to the first day  of the month in which the restrictions are lifted and you are able to travel to Malta.  Please submit your request before the start date. 

Do you allow short term lets?

We do allow students to book with shorter stay at Campus Hub. These can be as short  as a 7-night stay. Perfect if you are only visiting, studying for a term at a time or on a  course that lasts a few months. 

Can I pay my accommodation in instalments?

Payment terms will be considered on a case-by-case basis and following the below conditions:

  • 20% Deposit on booking 
  • First 2 months fully paid one week before check-in 
  • Monthly payments made starting at the end of your first month residing with us 
  • A 10% increase will be added when paying in instalments 

What happens if I can’t make my payment on time?

Talk to us! We will always work with you to find the best way for you to make your  payment. Please contact the Customer Experience Team on

What bills do I need to pay?

All utility bills (water, electricity, heating, and cooling), super-fast Wi-Fi and weekly  surface cleaning are included. 

Optional student insurance can be purchased as an add-on. 

Are there any extra fees I need to pay during my time at Campus Hub?

Government ‘eco tax’ will be needed to be paid on arrival. All guests will  be asked to pay 0.50c per day, capped at €5 on check-in. This is a onetime fee only.

Can I move in early?

In most cases – yes! This is dependent on whether the room you have booked is  available and will be subject to an additional cost. To check availability and arrange an  early move in please contact the Customer Experience Team   on hello@campushubmalta.com 

Can I view the rooms and residence?

Absolutely – the best way to see what we’re all about is to come down and see for yourself.
Not only can we do in-person viewings, but if you’re overseas we can also host remote viewings. Please get in touch here or contact our sales team on
info@campushubmalta.com so we can get you booked in.

Do you allow couples to stay / visit?

Of course! Couples can choose to live in our accommodation. Kindly highlight this at booking stage.

Can I change my room after checking in?

We aim to ensure you are as comfortable as possible, however, room changes cannot be guaranteed.

Changes are only subject to availability and differences in prices will be charged for different room categories as required.

Do I have to share my kitchen/bathroom?

Not at all! All our self-contained studios have a private bathroom and kitchen within an area. There is a communal student area outside of your studio that has individual and group study spaces, pool, gym facility and relaxation and social ‘zones’ for you to enjoy whenever you need a break from university work.

As a disabled person I have specific requirements for my living needs, can Campus Hub cater for these?

We make every effort to ensure that our accommodation is accessible for all, and we will always do everything we can to find you suitable accommodation. We have access rooms available, and these will be available to view and book.

Is bedding included within the room?

Bedding is included as standard in your room. This includes: 

  • One fitted and one loose sheet 
  • One quilt and one quilt cover 
  • One pillow and one pillowcase  
  • One blanket. 

You’ll get this delivered to your room in time for your move in date.

Are there fridges included in the rooms?

No – fridges are only available in every kitchen found in a cluster apartment, apartment, or studio. These also include freezer compartments.

Are there kitchen facilities in my room?

All our kitchens will include a combination microwave oven/grill, a ceramic hob, a sink, a fridge with freezer compartment, and storage space for your food.
If you’re staying in one of our cluster rooms then these appliances will be in the shared kitchen and lounge area.

Do I need to bring any furniture?

All our apartments come complete with high quality furnishings that provide ample  storage and comfort. Because of fire restrictions, you are not allowed to bring your  own furniture or large appliances (e.g., fridge, heater, air-conditioner) with you. 

Do I need to bring my own saucepans, plates, cutlery, etc?

Kitchen utensils including pots and pans are included as standard in your booking.  

You will receive a personal cutlery and crockery set personal use including 2 of each of  the below items: 

  • Knife and fork 
  • Dessert spoon 
  • Teaspoon 
  • Dinner plate 
  • Side plate 
  • Cereal bowl 
  • Mug 
  • Glass tumbler 

Cluster and Shared Apartments will have utensil and cooking kits to share, including:

Studio apartments will each have their own cutlery, crockery, utensils, and cooking  sets. 

How fast is the internet connection in the building?

All our buildings offer a superfast Wi-Fi connection.  

You may find your broadband speed varies during the time of day, for example during  the peak time of 7pm – 11pm or there may be other factors affecting your speed (e.g., uploads running in the background, security features performing scans etc). 

At check-in you will receive details on how to connect to our internet and how to check  any issues directly with the provider so that they can troubleshoot any problems you  may have.

Is there a TV in my room?

Flat screen SMART TVs are found in our cluster kitchen/lounge areas.

We have TV Screens available to use in the Common Area and Study Lounge also. 

Is there WiFi in the building?

All our buildings offer a superfast Wi-Fi connection which allows you to stay connected  wherever you are whether is your room, studio and in and around the Campus Hub  buildings. 

What happens if there is a breakage or problem with my room?

You can log all maintenance issues on the Campus Hub website or by sending an email  to hello@campushubmalta.com. For any emergency’s call on +356 79058834. 

Simply log a ticket, add a picture if you wish and one of our Team will respond as soon  as possible. You can also come downstairs and speak to your front desk team who will  be happy to help

What happens I damage something in my room?

Items that have been damaged or misused need to be repaired, replaced or re decorated and charged to the student accordingly. 

We ask that only the Campus Hub team handles repairs or maintenance of any kind.  

Any charges we may incur for replacing items or appointing external contractors will  be passed on to you.

Is there a common room?

Yes! At Campus Hub there is the amazing communal space that is open for all residents  to enjoy. There is incredibly comfortable seating, private study areas, and big screen  TVs that are all perfect for you to enjoy on your own or in groups. 

We also hold regular events in the communal space hosted by the residence teams. If  you have a suggestion, let us know and we’ll make it happen! 

Is a pool available at Campus Hub?

Yes – Our Pool Area is open 24/7. Pool use is not allowed between 23:00-07:00

Will I get a cleaner?

A weekly clean of your apartment is part of the service at Campus Hub! Our  housekeeping team will provide a clean of your kitchen worktop surfaces and  bathrooms to keep things clean for you. We do this to ensure your space is kept in the  very best condition throughout the year and to minimise the damage. However, they  will not tidy your belongings or wash your dishes to respect your privacy. 

Cleaning of rooms, kitchens and bathroom will only be done if they are kept tidy! The  team will not be responsible for cleaning your spaces if they are unable to access them  properly. 

If you would like to book an additional deep clean, please speak to the front desk team  who can book this for you for €25 at a time to suit you. This will include a deep clean of  your room and a load of laundry. 

The housekeeping team will also clean all communal areas but are not responsible for throwing away your rubbish, so please be mindful and respect the building

Do I have to supply my own food?

Yes. However, conveniently enough there is a supermarket on the Campus Hub  grounds to get all your foods and necessities from – so be adventurous (safely) with  your cooking and if you have any leftovers, please feel free to share with the residence! 

If far too busy with your studies and have no time to cook a variety of restaurants are  available right outside your doorstep at the Campus Hub Piazza, so feel free to take it  easy occasionally and enjoy! 

Can I have guests to stay / visit?

We do allow guests to stay overnight for one night only, but they will need to sign in with the residence team at reception and cannot have their own key card. Any guests must accompany you everywhere and cannot be left alone in your room – this is due to only you as the resident being fully aware of our health and safety processes and policies.

Is your accommodation suitable for mature students?

Absolutely! You can enjoy the privacy of your own studio without having to share a  kitchen but can enjoy the social aspect of living in a development with fantastic  communal space! 

The Campus Hub buildings are spread over multiple blocks and floors, ensuring we can  provide a suitable space according to your specific needs 

Are there specific times of the day that I can move in?

You can move in from 14:00hrs on the date that your contract starts. Our team will be in  the residence 24/7 so you can move in any time, day or night after your contract  begins. However, to make sure you have the best in experience possible, it’s always  advised that you book a move in appointment so that we can ensure everything is  ready for you.

How safe is my room?

Your room is very safe – entry into any accommodation block requires a key card that  only allows Campus Hub students access to per-set areas. 

On-site staff are available at the front desk day and night and the security team are available in and around the buildings, 24 hours a day. Their job is to always protect you  and the building.

Our emergency contact number is +356 79058834. It is important to keep this number  handy in case of any kind of emergency. 

Can I smoke in my room?

No. As per Maltese Legislation, it is against the law to smoke indoors. Also, per the  Campus Hub terms and conditions, it is not permitted to smoke inside any Campus  Hub building. There are designated smoking areas at each of the blocks and outside  areas which you are welcome to use. 

Where can I store my bike?

We have bike storage spaces so please feel free to bring it with you! 

Can I bring my car?

Campus Hub is close to Malta’s major city centre locations and a stone throw away  from the University, which means we have great links to public transport.  

We do have an on-site car park however we have to consider the impact on the  environment when building our developments and because of this, the great location  and the links to transport, we have not provided car parking spaces in our agreements. 

Can family and friends bring their cars when they come to visit?

Yes, we have our own public car park at Campus Hub which they can make use of. 

Where do I wash my clothes?

Campus Hub has an on-site laundry room at level -3 in our car park with washing and  drying machines where you’ll simply pay ad hoc for any washing or drying you need.  

  • 6KG wash is €6  
  • 11KG wash is €11. 
  • 6KG Dryer is €1 per 10 min 
  • 11KG Dryer is €2 per 10 min 

Do you have a gym?

The Warehouse’ Gym is conveniently found in Block D (-1) and includes a fully equipped functional gym, a studio that hosts a variety of fitness classes daily, showers and lockers. A number of memberships and passes my be purchased from them directly.

We require 20% deposit on booking to secure your room and then expect full payment or first two months instalments, one week before check in date.

We require 50% deposit on booking to secure your room and then expect full payment one week before check in date.
